Can you believe we actually receive canned emails from companies trying to sell SEO services? We are an SEO company ourselves, but the spammer didn't take the time to actually notice that. Or those emails that start with Dear Site Owner... as if our business name wasn't apparent enough across our web site.
Here at FreshPromo we feel strongly about spam and have dedicated this page to revealing those companies that have spammed us. Why are we doing this, you ask? We hope that by letting others know of the companies that engage in unprofessional means of making a buck, it might make the Internet a little safer. And to be frank, we feel they deserve to be embarrassed (if they have any pride to begin with).
The issues associated with an unwanted email can go beyond a simple annoyance. Many people and companies make claims through email that encourage the recipient to make a purchase. Since much of the email spam originating in the United States is illegal (the CAN-SPAM Act was enacted in 2003) we feel that if a company or individual is willing to break the law, not to mention throw ethics out the window, doing business with them is a dangerous concept.
So without further ado, we present a (constantly growing) list of people or companies who have spammed us. And since they love spam so much, we've even hyperlinked their email address so that other fellow spammers can easily get in touch with them.
